These terms cover the EmpowerEd public website, informational pages, and browser demonstrations. Please use them lawfully and respectfully. Separate agreements, licenses, and local policies may apply to donations, licensed materials, partnerships, or a community-operated Edge installation.
Information and demonstrations
The website explains the lab’s work and lets you try examples of its learning approach. Demonstrations are educational illustrations, not a live classroom service, a qualification, or a guarantee of learning outcomes. Roadmaps and planned deployment locations may change as testing and partner work progress.
Acceptable use
Do not disrupt the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, or submit personal classroom records. Use the demonstrations in ways that respect other people’s rights and privacy.
Content, source code, and branding
EmpowerEd’s branding, photography, original software, and editorial materials remain subject to their owners’ rights unless an explicit license says otherwise. Open-source components and licensed learning materials keep their individual licenses. Publishing a dependency list or a public demonstration does not license the entire Edge platform. Follow the exact license attached to each released item and retain required notices and attribution.
Donations
Donations use HCB’s service and payment providers. Review the amount, recurring-gift settings, fees, and disclosures shown by HCB before submitting. Donation processing, receipts, cancellations, and refund requests follow the applicable HCB process; this website does not replace that process or independently promise tax treatment.
Third-party services
Links and embedded services have their own terms and privacy practices. A source attribution does not imply an endorsement or partnership. Availability of a third-party service is outside EmpowerEd’s direct control.
Availability and limitations
We aim to provide useful, accurate information, but website content and demonstrations may contain errors, change, or become unavailable. Evaluate suitability before relying on them for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes responsibilities or rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
