Contact messages and team applications
When you submit a contact form or team application, we store the information you provide and your agreement to its use. The founder can review these records to respond to you or consider your application. Records are held in private website storage, separate from Edge learner records. To request correction or deletion, email contact@empowereducation.us. Please do not include sensitive personal or classroom information.
What this policy covers
This policy describes the EmpowerEd public website and its interactive demonstrations. Community-operated Edge installations hold their own learner and teacher records; this website does not connect to those records. Local deployments need privacy information appropriate to their setting.
When you visit
Your browser sends technical information such as an IP address, requested page, and browser details to the website host. Hosting and security providers may process logs to deliver and protect the site. Their retention and account-access practices are governed by their own policies.
Learning demonstrations
The public fraction, pattern, and webpage activities use temporary state in your browser. The current website code does not send your answers or practice text to EmpowerEd, create a learner account, or store activity progress. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information into demonstrations.
Donations and third-party services
The donation page and donation modal embed HCB. Loading the form connects your browser to HCB and its service providers, which may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies. Information you submit in that form is processed by HCB and its payment providers. EmpowerEd may receive donor and transaction information through HCB for administration, acknowledgment, and recordkeeping; card entry is handled by the payment service, not our website. Review HCB’s policies and the information shown in the form before giving.
Cookies and browser storage
The current public site does not add advertising trackers or store activity answers in cookies or local storage. The hosting platform and embedded services can have separate cookie, security, and session behavior. You can manage site data through your browser and open the donation form directly instead of using an embed.
Use and sharing of information
Information received through a donation or a message is used to respond, administer the relationship, maintain necessary records, and address security or legal requirements. Access should be limited to people and service providers who need it for those purposes. This website has no advertising-data sale or sharing feature.
Children and learning
The demonstrations can be explored without an account. Do not submit a child’s personal details or classroom records through donation forms or public practice activities. Educators and local administrators are responsible for appropriate permissions and notices when operating an Edge installation.
Your choices and requests
You can stop using the site, manage browser cookies, and choose whether to open third-party services. Requests about a donation can be directed through the contact information on your HCB receipt. Requests concerning records held by a local Edge should go to that installation’s administrator. Contact EmpowerEd for questions about information it holds; applicable rights and any necessary recordkeeping requirements depend on the request and location.
Updates
This notice will be revised when the website’s data practices change. The revision date identifies the current version.
