OPEN SOURCE / CLEAR BOUNDARIES

Built on open foundations.
Shared with purpose.

Explore the public components behind Edge, an original reusable lesson, and the licenses that make reuse clear.

WHAT IS SHARED HERE

Readable sources.
Specific permissions.

Open-source dependencies, openly licensed learning material, and EmpowerEd’s own application are distinct. Each item below identifies its origin and terms. This page does not grant a blanket license to the Edge platform.

OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE USED BY EDGE

Credit the foundations.

CONTENT IS ITS OWN CATEGORY

Open learning.
Visible attribution.

Original sample lesson text explicitly marked CC0 can be reused under that dedication. Other content in Edge retains its own license: some resources are noncommercial or require share-alike distribution. A software license does not override those conditions.

Manrope is bundled under the SIL Open Font License. Provider names identify source material, not an endorsement or partnership.

WHAT STAYS OUT OF THE PUBLIC FILES

Sharing has a clear boundary.

A public source collection is separate from the information and materials used to operate a local deployment.

People and operations

Learner records, teacher credentials, private partner information, and deployment-specific settings are not part of these downloads.

Content and model assets

Resource packs, media, and model weights are not included here. Each requires its own licensing and distribution review; a software license does not grant rights to the whole collection.

EMPOWERED APPLICATION CODE

A release needs a defined scope.

No public release of the current full Edge application is offered here. Any future release will name its files, version, copyright holder, and license. MIT permits commercial reuse of covered code; its presence on a page does not license unrelated assets, third-party materials, or unreleased components.
